Silver's Recoil Pads enhance the stock of even best guns. They are supplied in two sizes, No.3 and No.4 to cover all types of shotgun or rifle. The No.3 pad is more commonly used for shotgun applications, whilst the No.4 with its top nib tends to be the most popular for rifles. Either pad is perfectly satisfactory for either application and can be left as a matter of personal choice. If required both pads cand be leather covered to customer's requirements. They are suitable for all applications and working conditions, being both durable and climatically stable. Pads are available in black, red and Best London orange. A high standard of finish is obtained by using white spirit or lamp parafin with wet and dry polishing followed by a light coating of varnish.
