.458 Lott

This is a relatively new big game cartridge designed by Jack Lott in 1971 and is based on a blown out and shortened version of the .375 H&H. The intention of this round was to improve the performance of the .458 Winchester with its 480 grain bullet and it has established an enviable reputation in Africa.
